Wivmee hasn't opened yet. This covers the waitlist only: this website, the signup form and the emails we send about the launch.
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the waitlist, and delete it when you ask. Before the app opens, we’ll publish a full privacy policy and ask you to accept it before you use the app.
Who runs Wivmee
Wivmee is run by AiSphereX, a sole proprietorship based in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. For anything about your data, write to hello@wivmee.com. Our phone number and grievance officer are on the contact page.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your city.
- Whether you’re a woman or a man.
- That you confirmed you’re 18 or older.
- Your answers to the optional questions, if you answer them: what you’re looking for, your age range, whether you pay for a dating app now, and what frustrates you about dating apps.
- Which invite link or campaign brought you to Wivmee, if any.
- Basic technical data our hosting and email services record, such as your IP address, browser and when you visited.
We don’t ask for your phone number, photos, ID or location on the waitlist.
Why we use it
- To confirm your email address and hold your place.
- To decide which cities to open first, and when, from how many women and men have joined in each.
- To send you waitlist and launch updates.
- To learn who wants Wivmee and what they want from a dating app, from your optional answers.
- To credit invites and see which channels bring people in.
What we never do
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t use your answers for advertising, and we don’t put them in ad pixels or tracking links.
- We don’t show your details to other people on the waitlist.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to host this website, store the waitlist and send our emails. They handle your data only to run those services for us. We share it with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while the waitlist runs and until you decide whether to join when your city opens. If you don’t confirm your email within 30 days, we delete that signup. If you ask us to delete your details, we do it within 30 days.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
- Ask for a summary of the details we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete them.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. We’ll stop emailing you and delete your details, unless the law requires us to keep something.
Write to hello@wivmee.com from the email address you signed up with. We reply within 7 days.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we handled your data, write to us first at hello@wivmee.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. If we don’t resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Age
Wivmee is only for adults 18 and over. If we find out someone under 18 has signed up, we delete their details.
Security
This website uses encrypted connections. Only the people who run Wivmee can see the waitlist.
Changes to this policy
If we change it, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your details, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
